British Association of Local History Study Day a Jane 250 event.

A whole day of presentations including, Professor Gillian Dow and Professor John McAleer from the University of Southampton, Jo Willett award winning television producer and biographer, Angela Barlow actor & writer, Nicola Pink author & singer. Topics include: Locating Pemberley, the importance of place in Jane Austen’s fiction; Muddy Petticoats & Parasols, uncovering Jane Austen’s experience of walking; Sarah Siddons, Austen’s Favourite Actress; Jane Austen & Character, An Actors View.
