Mayflower Young Writers

Do you like writing? Would you like to work with a professional writer and find out more about different genres and techniques?

ArtfulScribe and Mayflower Participation are inviting young people to get involved with a regular creative writing group that will help develop skills, confidence and experience. Participants will explore creative writing through practical exercises and workshops on topics like characterisation, dialogue, setting and plot. Writers will work across genres including non-fiction, fiction, poetry and script-writing.

Weekly sessions will take place on Saturday mornings during term times. These sessions are free but we are looking for commitment.

All workshops are suitable for beginners and advanced writers.
