Spring term for Mayflower Youth Theatre has returned! Join us as we run weekly Youth Theatre sessions in drama and musical theatre for young people.
Our Junior Youth Theatre groups enable young people to learn new skills, meet new people, and work with experienced theatre practitioners in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment.
Mayflower Junior Youth Theatre members are given the opportunity to perform in an end of year showcase in front of parents/guardians and invited guests. Participants will also receive exclusive offers through email for taking part in the group.
Term fee includes:
- Weekly sessions during term time
- Performance opportunities
- Show trips to productions at our venues
- Youth Theatre T-shirt
Participants are welcome to join us for a free taster session on the first session of term and the first session after half term. Please ring the box office to book your taster: 02380 711811.
Mayflower Junior Youth Theatre is for all young people and we offer a bursary scheme to enable everyone to take part. Our bursaries cover half the cost of the standard fee, and support those who would otherwise be unable to attend.

Standard: £120
Payment
Payments can be paid in full for the whole term by 28 April 2025 or a payment plan can be selected. This will give you the option to pay in three instalments of £40. The payment plan must be created by 28 April 2025.
Running Time
Group 2: 9am – 10.30am
Group 3: 10.30am – 12pm
Payment Schedule
Payments can be paid in full for the whole term by 28 April 2025 or a payment plan can be selected. This will give you the option to pay in three instalments of £40. The payment plan must be created by 28 April 2025. The second and third instalments will be taken automatically at the end of the following calendar months.
Each session costs £12. Participants pay from whenever they join in the term and the fee is reduced to reflect this.
Discounts
Sibling Discount: £105
Bursary: £60
There are limited number of bursaries available each term. These must be applied for on a termly basis and are not guaranteed for the whole year. These can be awarded on a financial or talent basis.
Applicants applying for a bursary should complete their application before term starting accompanied by the first instalment of £60. You will be notified by the beginning of term whether your application has been successful.
