On 25th January, join us at MAST Mayflower Studios for an unforgettable evening celebrating the stories of Southampton with the Home Theatre Southampton film screening. This unique project brought together local people, theatre makers, and artists to create intimate performances in homes across the city, sharing personal stories of what it means to belong in Southampton.

The evening will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process, showing how theatre practitioners worked closely with participants to transform their stories into live performances. You’ll see clips from the shows and discover the rich, personal narratives that emerged from this collaboration.

Following the screening, there will be a live panel discussion with Olivier Award-winning Theatre Director Kerry Kyriacos Michael MBE and some of the artists and participants. It’s an opportunity to hear first-hand experiences of the project, discuss the power of storytelling, and celebrate the talent that makes Southampton’s community so special.
