Acosta Danza Yunior presents Green Shoots
Event details
Acosta Danza Yunior was founded in 2023 by Carlos Acosta, the world-famous Cuban ballet dancer with the purpose of developing the next generation of talented dancers.
The junior company’s three year programme for dancers aged 18-21 will be supported by the existing framework in Havana and act as a bridge between the Academy and Acosta Danza.
The junior company embodies Carlos Acosta’s mission to celebrate Cuban folk through its repertoire attracting renowned Cuban choreographers to explore both existing and new creations with these dynamic, energetic and talented young dancers.
Acosta Danza Yunior is delighted to have its International debut at MAST Mayflower Studios where the company will showcase a rich mixed bill in celebration of Cuba’s folkloric history with audiences.
