Jason first made the swap from the stunning loin cloth to the regal gold leathers for the new London Palladium production in the summers of 2019 and 2021. These two triumphant seasons were ahead of the major UK Tour in 2022 which included a rapturously received week here in Southampton. Jason was last seen at our venue playing The Evil Ringmaster in the 2022 pantomime season Goldilocks and the Three Bears. So, if you enjoyed him in that, then you will definitely enjoy him in this.
Jason Donovan says ahead of his return to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat: “Joseph will always hold a special place in my heart and to return to the show in the new Palladium production and later UK tour as Pharaoh was an incredible experience. Alongside Jason, Christina Bianco stars as Narrator and Adam Filipe as Joseph.
If you think you recognise Christina Bianco then you’d be right. She captured international acclaim as a YouTube sensation with her ‘diva’ impression videos that have gained over 25 million views. Her most recent venture has been playing the role of Glinda in The Wizard of Oz at The London Palladium.
You may also be familiar with Adam Filipe as he has taken to this stage before. His credits include Titanic The Musical (UK Tour); Prince Of Egypt, Original West End Cast and Les Misérables (Queens Theatre).
